My name is Szilárd Strenner. I am the executive director of Grafacity Ltd, a graphic illustrator, facilitator, visual coach, strategy and OD consultant.

The main aim of our company is to promote the graphic recording and facilitation in Hungary. Visualization can stimulate collective thinking which can convey meaning more effectively. Workshops, presentations and meetings can be supported by it or the creation of complex business strategies. Among all of the advantages of using visual aids I would particularly emphasize two characteristic features of the method: the ability to integrate and organise information, and the ability of evoking associatons to inspire understanding, to identify correlations and to enable someone to advance.

I was introduced to graphic recording and facilitation in the summer of 2010, at the ODWS (Organisational Development Word Summit). I had the opportunity to test this method together with my German colleague, Sabine Soeder. At this point I realised that my experience as a trainer and an OD consultant were a perfect fit for my basic Degree of Applied Arts.

While our company is specialised in services that rely on visual aids and visualisation, this does not limit us to just 'picturising' the word-based information. In addition to illustration we use visualisation as a genuine and independent language, a way of thinking and a universal way of expression.

Grafacity Ltd. is a family business joining to a network of other companies and professionals who are just as commited to pursue quality as we are. As we regularly work on projects together with our partners Grafacity also functions as a workshop. These occasions create a great opportunity to cooperate, to learn together and to learn from each other.
